John L. Davidson,M.D., Medical Director

John L.Davidson, M.D. specializes in laser vision correction, cataract and intraocular lens surgery. He has performed over 10,000 refractive procedures, and is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr.Davidson earned his medical doctorate with Highest Distinction (top 1%) from Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana, after earning Bachelor of Arts degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Indiana University in Bloomington, also with Highest Distinction (top 1%). He completed a residency in ophthalmology at Indiana University in Indianapolis and was awarded a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at the prestigious Jules Stein Institute at UCLA.

He has continued to train, teach and lecture earning the prestigious Physician Recognition Award from the American Medical Association for the hundreds of hours of continuing medical education (CME) he has completed. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the Jules Stein Institute at UCLA. He has also published articles in the American Journal of Ophthalmology, and Journal of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.

When Dr.Davidson is not working he is a volunteer physician for SEE International and participates in eye surgery missions to developing countries. He has provided modern eye care to hundreds of people, and trained local ophthalmologists in Albania,Mexico and Venezuela.

Jason Lam, O.D., Clinical Director

Jason Lam, O.D. began his Optometric endeavors at the prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. There he trained with world renowned doctors in specialty contact lenses. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology from the University of California in Los Angeles, he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, CA.

Dr. Lam completed rigorous externships at the Optometric Center of Los Angeles, Veterans Affairs Hospital Ambulatory Care in Los Angeles, The Eye Care Center of Fullerton and The Eye Care Associates in Nevada, specializing in Cataracts management, LASIK management, Oculoplastics management, contact lenses and primary care optometry. On occasion, Dr. Lam staffs and teaches optometric Intern students at the Optometric Center of Los Angeles, a subsidiary clinic of the Southern California College of Optometry.

In his spare time, he is a voluntary doctor participating in ophthalmic medical missions with the One Sight Organization helping the impoverished communities of Panama and Honduras. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, and a board member of the Asian American Optometric Society.
