Larry Womack, M.D.

Dr.Womack is the Medical Director for TLC Laser Eye Centers in Cedar Rapids. He has performed over 30,000 LASIK procedures making him one of the region's most experienced LASIK surgeons. Dr Womack is experienced in a variety of refractive procedures including LASIK, PRK, RK, ALK, INTACS and LASEK. He is certified on several laser platforms including the Visx Wavescan, Ladarvision, Nidek and Wavelight Allegretto; and performs most LASIK cases using the bladeless Intralase Femtosecond laser technology.

Education/Training
Dr.Womack attended medical school at the University of North Dakota and the University of Alabama, where he graduated in 1976. After serving three years in the Indian Health Service, Dr.Womack completed his postgraduate training in Ophthalmology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Honors/Accomplishments
Dr.Womack has been recognized as one of the Top 5 LaserVision surgeons in the U.S. since 1998. He is also a certified LaserVision premier Gold Surgeon, helping to ensure his patients achieve the best possible LASIK outcomes.

Memberships/Affiliations
Dr.Womack is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is also certified in LASIK by the American College of Eye Surgeons. He is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the International Society of Refractive Surgery of the American Academy of Ophthalmolgy.
