Being fifty years old, I didn't think that I would be a candidate; however, the staff and doctors at TLC Billings talked and walked me through all the procedures and it turned out that I was! Surgery day was an amazing day, and everything was so organized and quick. I can remember hearing someone count down the seconds each eye took: 16 for the right eye and 13 for the left. I now have 20/20 distance vision! I have been wearing glasses since I was five years old. To get up every day and see the world so clearly without glasses is amazing. I enjoy hiking & bike riding and don't have to deal with contacts for those. I plan to snorkel soon and that will be another great experience. I would highly recommend anyone consider consulting with TLC Billings about LASIK eye surgery as it has certainly brightened my world!"

 Having corrective eye surgery at TLC was the best gift that we could have given each other and we are forever thankful that we made the decision to do so. It is such a blessing to have good vision and not have to hassle with contacts or glasses anymore. The staff at TLC have become like family to us and treated us so wonderful during both our surgeries. They go well beyond the call of duty to make sure patients feel comfortable and that everything goes successfully. I spent a great deal of time researching an experienced physician and facility. Repeatedly, I was pointed toward TLC Billings, and I finally made the consultation appointment. Once there, I felt so comfortable about proceeding with the surgery, which I had done the next day! The procedure was a piece of cake and I was able to see clearly immediately after it was over. The recovery was as described and within weeks I forgot that I ever required glasses! I love my new eyes and never have to try to accommodate my visual issues into my activities – I can just go! I had worn glasses or contacts since fourth grade. For several years prior to my procedure at TLC Billings, I couldn’t wear contacts for more than a few hours at a time because my eyes would become irritated. This became problematic because I have a very active lifestyle, including skiing, running, swimming, hiking and biking. I started thinking about Lasik surgery about five years prior to actually having it done, but was nervous about the risks. As a gynecologic surgeon, I was worried that any complication would mean I couldn’t do my job – but, I really wanted to undergo the procedure.
