Dr. Womack, Medical Director for TLC Laser Eye Centers Fargo, is the only LASIK surgeon in North Dakota devoted exclusively to Refractive Surgery. He has performed over 20,000 LASIK procedures making him the region's most experienced LASIK surgeon. Highly skilled in a variety of laser technologies, including RK, ALK, INTACS, PRK, LASIK, LADARVision CustomCornea and Allegretto Wave, Dr. Womack is also the first and only LASIK surgeon in North Dakota to offer 100% all-laser, bladeless LASIK using IntraLase technology.

Education/Training
Dr. Womack attended medical school at the University of North Dakota and the University of Alabama where he graduate in 1976. After serving three years in the Indian Health Service, Dr. Womack completed his postgraduate training in ophthalmology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Memberships/Affiliations
Dr. Womack is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is also certified in LASIK by the American College of Eye Surgeons. He is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the International Society of Refractive Surgery of the American Academy of Ophthamolgy.

Honors/Accomplishments
Dr. Womack has been recognized as one of the Top 5 LaserVision surgeons in the U.S. since 1998. He is also a certified LaserVision premier Gold Surgeon, helping to ensure his patients achieve the best possible LASIK outcomes.

Dr. Mari is the Clinical Director of Refractive Surgery at Valley Laser Eye Center. He is a Fargo native who has been practicing in the Fargo-Moorhead area for the past 10 years. Dr. Mari completed a Clinical Refractive Surgery fellowship with Vance Thompson, MD in Sioux Falls, SD. He works closely with Dr. Womack in managing pre and postoperative care; and he also maintains our optometric network of over 140 regional optometrists. Dr. Mari regularly attends continuing education courses on refractive surgery.
