 | Dr. Nichols received his Medical Degree (MD) from McMaster University in 1980 after completion of an Honours Biology Degree at the University of Waterloo. He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Saskatchewan after a two year residency in Family Medicine at The University of Western Ontario. He then trained with a world leader in LASIK surgery undertaking a Fellowship in Cataract and Refractive Surgery at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Nichols is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  | Dr. Patil received her Doctor of Optometry degree with honours from the University of Waterloo in 2004, where she also earned an honours Bachelors of Science degree in biology. Her optometric education was enhanced by having the opportunity to organize several eye care missions to Nepal, India and Jamaica.
