Clinical Director has iLASIK

On Thursday June 4th 2009 The Laser Center of Coral Gables Clinical Director, Dr. Adam Stelzer, underwent iLASIK. He was given visual independence by colleague and Medical Director, Dr. Alberto Aran.

"In my position as Clinical Director I have managed thousands of laser vision correction patients. Like all patients, I had to wait for my prescription to stabilize prior to undergoing iLASIK. My procedure was performed at 4:30 pm and by 6:00pm I was seeing better than 20/20!! My vision is now better than I had ever seen with glasses or contact lenses. TLC Medical Director Performs Surgery on his Daughter

On June 6, 2001, Dr. Alberto Aran, The Laser Center of Coral Gables' Medical Director, performed LASIK on his daughter Alexis. At twenty one years of age, she is now a happy 20/20 Vision patient who can't stop telling all how wonderful life can be without contact lenses or glasses. Alexis had wanted her dad to correct her farsightedness for several years, but her vision was not stable, which prevented her from undergoing LASIK until now. With the use of the Autonomous LadarVision technology, Dr. Aran was able to eliminate not only her hyperopia, but also her astigmatism. Both father and daughter are now thrilled with the results. It is obvious that Dr. Aran is not concerned with the long term effects of laser vision correction or he would not have performed the procedure on his daughter.
