Dear Ms. Beatty:

Before undergoing LASIK eye surgery at TLC Pittsburgh last week, I had been wearing glasses for four years. Three years ago, I started talking to the team eye doctor, Randy Beatty, about laser vision correction. At that time, Dr. Beatty recommended that I wait because the technology was improving quickly and a more advanced procedure, LASIK, was fast becoming the procedure of choice.

I followed his advice, but was slowly getting tired of having several pairs of glasses at home, at the office and on the football field. This became a huge nuisance to me. I knew Dr. Beatty had already sent some of my players and employees to TLC. I kept hearing their success stories and they were thrilled with their results. I decided to seriously think about laser surgery again.

This time after reviewing all my options, Dr. Beatty recommended LASIK at TLC. I scheduled my procedure with Dr. Whitten at TLC Pittsburgh, and was amazed that one day after my surgery my vision was 20/15 in both eyes.

My experience with TLC Pittsburgh was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I want to thank everyone at TLC.

Before I decided to get laser eye surgery, I thought to myself, did Tiger Woods get special treatment at the Laser Eye Center that he had his surgery performed? I no longer wonder about this question anymore. I know that he did indeed get special treatment.

Someone may wonder how I know the answer to this question. It is very simple. Tiger Woods went to a TLC Laser Eye Center and everyone is treated in a very special way. I know this by experience. I felt like I was very informed of what was going on and what was going to happen next, from the minute I walked in the front door until the time I was escorted home. I also know this from two of my best friends that had surgery a couple weeks after I had mine done, and they felt the same way. Professional attention from the beginning of the process until the end is what one can expect from the people at TLC.

I have already had my one month exam, and my vision is 20/15 in both eyes. I know that may not happen for everybody, but I for one could not be any happier. My two friends have 20/20 vision from the corrective procedure, which is considered perfect vision. So basically, my advice to anyone considering corrective eye surgery would be to go to TLC in Sewickley, Pa.
