Richard Tipperman
Dr. Richard Tipperman is originally from New York and completed his undergraduate studies at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York and medical school at the University of Rochester. Dr. Tipperman completed an ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital and served as Chief Resident at Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Tipperman remains an active member of the teaching staff at Wills and has lectured locally, nationally and internationally on a variety of ophthalmic surgical topics including refractive surgery.

Irving M. Raber
Irving M. Raber graduated from the University of Manitoba Medical School with a combined M.D. Bsc (Med) Degree in 1971. Dr. Raber did a rotating internship at Toronto General Hospital in Toronto and a residency in Internal Medicine at Winnipeg Health Science Center which he completed in 1975. Dr. Raber also did a residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Toronto and a Fellowship in Corneal and External Diseases at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia from 1978-1979. Dr Raber was Chief of Cornea Service at Scheie Institute (University of Pennsylvania Department of Ophthalmology) from 1979-1986.

Christopher A. Williams
Christopher A. Williams, MD received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine, USA. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, USA. He is currently an Assistant Physician/Surgeon on the active teaching staff at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital and is also attending Physician/Surgeon on the active staff at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland, PA, USA.

Richard L. Tax
Richard L. Tax, M.D., F.A.C.S earned his M.D. degree from Cornell University College of Medicine in 1970. Upon completion of his internship in medicine and surgery, he entered themilitary service as a Captain and Flight Surgeon at Andrews Air Force Base nearWashington, DC. Dr. Tax spent three years (1973-1976) as resident surgeon at the Wills Eye Hospital. He entered private practice the following year. He became an affiliate surgeon with TLC Laser Eye Centers in 1996. He has performed thousands of LASIK and PRK procedures.

Brandon D. Ayers
Dr. Ayres graduated from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2000. After completing medical school, he completed a rotating internship at University of Pennsylvania's Presbyterian Medical Center, and a three year residency in ophthalmology at New Jersey Medical School, where he served as Chief Resident. In June of 2005, Dr. Ayres completed his fellowship in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive surgery from Wills Eye Hospital in Philadephia, PA. Dr. Ayres began performing laser vision correction with the start of his fellowship in 2004. He now continues to perform LASIK vision correction along with cornea/external disease and anterior segment surgery.

Walter P. Harris Jr.
Dr. Walter P. Harris, Jr. received his Medical Degree from John Hopkins Medical School and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Medical College of Virginia. He is a fellow at the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Philadelphia College of Physicians.

John Witherell
John Witherell, M.D., is a board-certified ophthalmic surgeon who trained at the prestigious Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Witherell graduated with a degree in bio-engineering from the University of Pennsylvania where he was a Dean's List student. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine from Jefferson Medical College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned membership to the exclusive Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Witherell is highly experienced in laser vision correction and has performed thousands of intraocular procedures. He joined TLC in 2004 where he currently does LASIK procedures. Dr. Witherell also practices medicine at Ophthalmic Surgical Associates and New Image Cosmetic and Refractive, with offices in Crozer Chester Medical Center, Media, and Brinton Lake. He trained in both Laser Vision Correction and corneal medicine at Wills Eye Hospital.

Steven Nissman
Dr. Steven Nissman is originally from Abington, Pennsylvania, and completed medical school at Hahnemann School of Medicine. Dr. Nissman received his ophthalmology training at the prestigious Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC, where he served as chief resident and was heavily involved in the teaching and surgical training of young eye doctors. Additionally, he spent considerable time working at the Bethesda Naval Hospital treating the eye injuries of US soldiers evacuated from Iraq.
