 | Dr. Bartlett graduated from Truman State University with a B.S. in Zoology. He then attended the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 1970 as president of his class. He interned at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, taking a rotating internship. He was then drafted into the Army where he performed many eye surgeries and wrote several papers on surgery for the treatment of eye complications of Leprosy and completed another paper on the surgical techniques of treating pterygiums.
