Chris Surdykowski

Dr. Surdykowski attended the University of Waterloo 1978-1986, graduating with an Hons B.Sc. in Science in 1982 and Doctor of Optometry degree in 1986. He has been in private practice since 1986 and started co-managing laser vision correction patients after completing TLC’s affiliate training at TLC London in 1997.

Memberships/ Accomplishments
Dr. Surdykowski has provided laser vision correction information through television, radio and seminars. He has been active in training students in various aspects of provision of refractive procedures at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry. Dr. Surdykowski has had the privilege of working with many top North American refractive surgeons, gaining insight into their views, preferences and treatment criteria established for proficiency in vision correction procedures. He continues to practice full scope family optometry in a partnership practice in Kitchener as well as being part of the team at TLC’s Mississauga location.

History

Dr. Surdykowski has over 10 years of experience providing refractive surgery consultation and co-managing laser vision correction patients. Dr. Surdykowski joined TLC Waterloo’s staff at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 1999 and had custom LASIK himself as part of FDA approval for custom ablation in 2001.
