Dan Belliveau

Education

Dr. Belliveau obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Université de Montréal in 1991. He then completed an Ophthalmology specialty at the Université de Sherbrooké in 1996. This is where Dr. Belliveau received his first training in refractive surgery. Dr. Belliveau has been extensively trained in both the LASIK and PRK Excimer laser techniques and has performed several thousand refractive laser procedures since 1997. Dr. Belliveau is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Belliveau is in a comprehensive ophthalmology practice in Halifax specializing in laser refractive surgery (LASIK and PRK), and intraocular lens implants. He is also a lecturer in the Department of Ophthalmology at Dalhousie University having an active role teaching eye surgery in the residency training program
