Education

Originally from Edmonds, Washington, Dr. Langley received a scholarship to Washington State University from the local rotary club. At Washington State University, he was active as a Theta Chi Fraternity Executive Committee Officer, Scholarship Chairman, Rush Chairman, and Finance Chairman. He was also a member of the Washington State University varsity football team and a recruiting officer for Coug Guys and Gals. Dr. Langley graduated Cum Laude with a Major in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry.

Dr. Langley continued his education at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. He was an active member of his class playing an integral part in health promotion and disease prevention for secondary education and the Latin community. Dr. Langley was a contributing writer for the university’s newsletter and organized the Malpractice Bowl, a friendly competition between medical and law students. He is currently a member of Tulsa Young Professionals and Rotary Club of Tulsa.

Memberships/ Awards

Dr. Langley has earned several awards in excellence of refractive surgery, as well as cataract surgery, from Triad Eye Laser Center and an award from OSU Department of Surgery. On a national level, he has received a lifelong education award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a physicians recognition award from American Medical Association, and is AOCOO-HNS written board certified. Dr. Langley is currently facilitating in the education of the OSU Center for Health Sciences medical students and TRMC intern and residents as an Assistant Professor of Surgery and Clinical Director of the Department of Ophthalmology.

Certified by VISX to perform the LASIK procedure, as well as one of only a hand full of refractive surgeons in the Tulsa area certified to use the IntraLase laser, Dr. Langley is also a skilled refractive and cataract surgeon. Dr. Langley also performs Oculoplastic procedures, such as brow and lid lifts, lesions removal, BOTOX, and other more complex eye surgeries, such as intraocular lens/contact lens placement ICL, corneal transplant, and Intacs corneal implants.
