Jeffrey J. Genos

Dr. Jeffrey Genos is originally from Warren, Ohio, he received his doctor of optometry degree from Ohio State University in 1990. Dr. Genos is a member of the American Optometric Association and Optometric Refractive Surgery Society. Dr. Genos served as an optometrist for Primary Eyecare, Inc. in 1990 through 1997, taking a one-year fellowship in 1994. His fellowship consisted of disease evaluation and postoperative care of refractive and cataract surgeries. Dr. Genos was employed at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation as the director of optometric services in refractive surgery from May, 1997 through July, 1998. In this short amount of time, he increased the network of optometrists from only 10 to 49. In July of 1998, Dr. Genos became the executive Clinical Director for TLC-The Laser Center in Independence, Ohio. In addition to overseeing the daily operations of the center and consulting patients on refractive surgery, he also develops a network of surrounding optometric physicians who provide all pre- and post- operative care following surgery. Dr. Genos currently resides in Twinsburg with his wife Michelle and sons Spencer and Logan. He is an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying tennis and basketball especially, and is also a Cleveland and Ohio State Buckeye fan.
