Lisa Willms

Education

Dr. Lisa Willms is Clinical Director at TLC Laser Eye Centers at the University of Waterloo's School of Optometry, in Waterloo, Ontario. Dr. Willms graduated from the University of Waterloo's School of Optometry in 1989. After graduation she worked as an associate in private practices in both Toronto and Waterloo. In 1997, she began working with surgeons Dr. Jeffery Machat and Dr. Louis Probst at TLC Laser Eye Centers in Windsor, Ontario. In Windsor, she functioned as clinical director providing pre-operative and post-operative care for thousands of patients undergoing laser vision correction. In November 1998, she accepted the Clinical Director's position in Waterloo. In addition to providing pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing laser vision correction, she will also be teaching a course covering the principles of ophthalmic lasers and refractive surgery to Optometry students.
