Dr. Fikaris received her undergraduate degree at Rutgers College in Biological Sciences and Exercise Science and completed her doctorate at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She has devoted her career to laser vision correction and has successfully counseled and managed thousands of patients. As Clinical Director since 2005, Dr. Fikaris works alongside our medical director in determining patient candidacy as well as calculating surgical outcomes. She was also involved in introducing the IntraLase technology into the metro region. She is a frequent lecturer and is the author of numerous articles. In addition, Dr. Fikaris is a member of the American Optometric Association, New Jersey Society or Optometric Physicians, and the New York State Optometric Association.
Dr. Fikaris has experienced the benefits of LASIK herself, having had surgery with TLC in 2006.
