Dr. Barbie Jodoin
Barbie Jodoin, O.D., originally from Madison, AL, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Engineering with a concentration in Biomedical Engineering.
Dr. Jodoin received her Doctorate from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. At SCO, she served as a Student Ambassador for the college and was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa honor fraternity. During her time at SCO, she received several awards, various scholarships, and Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. She completed her residency focusing in the management of Refractive and Ocular Surgery at Toyos Clinic in Germantown, TN. Following her residency, she served as the clinical director of the Nashville locations of Toyos Clinic and TLC Nashville.
Dr. Jodoin had the opportunity to live in several states across the United States because her father was an Army Officer. Her experiences in different parts of the country and situations have helped her as a physician relate to her patients in a better way. Dr. Jodoin enjoys hiking and cooking with her husband, Richard.
