Dr. Frank Rosenbaum

With over 40 years of experience, Board-Certified surgeon, Dr. Frank Rosenbaum, M.D., has performed over 50,000 laser eye surgery treatments, which includes complex cases in cataract, LASIK, and corneal transplantation.

As an early pioneer with LASIK eye surgery, Dr. Rosenbaum created one of the most recognized laser vision correction practices in Michigan. In 1996, his LASIK surgical data was submitted as part of the CRS-USA FDA approval study under the leadership of Charles Casebeer, M.D. Then, in 2001, he became the first refractive surgeon in the United States apply and publish his knowledge of pre-Vue cards for retreatment of patients who experienced unacceptable visual outcomes to help fix their blurred vision.  Following that, Dr. Rosenbaum started the first AAAHC approved “in office” sterile surgical suite for intraocular procedures in the country.

During his career, Dr. Rosenbaum has had the pleasure of teaching and serving as the primary instructor ophthalmologist as Clinical Assistant Professor for both Michigan State College of Human Medicine and the College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Rosenbaum and his wife moved to Colorado in 2021 to be closer to their only son. He loves to spend times with family and friends as well as swimming, golfing, and biking.
