Education
Dr. Oster received his M.D. degree from the Albany Medical College, completed his cornea fellowship at the New England Eye Center, Boston, and was appointed to Instructor in Ophthalmology at the Tufts University School of Medicine and Assistant in Ophthalmology at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary of Harvard University. He also served as the Director of the Cornea Service at the Jamaica Plains VA Hospital and is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Memberships/ Accomplishments
Dr. Oster is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, International Society of Refractive Surgery, Colorado Ophthalmologic Society and is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Oster began using the excimer laser to treat corneal disorders in 1995, has taught several courses on laser vision correction, and has lectured at national and international meetings. Dr. Oster performs LASIK at TLC Laser Eye Centers Billings, and also practices as a cornea specialist accepting referrals for corneal transplantation and cataract surgery in Denver.
