EDUCATION | TRAINING
Dr. Batliwala’s education and training began in Tyler, Texas, where he graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas with a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. During his undergraduate studies, he founded a successful tech company, SmartPhone ER, which now has retail stores in East Texas.
He then attended the University of North Texas Health Science Center for medical school, where he was elected into the Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society. While pursuing his medical degree, he had the opportunity to combine his passion for outer space and interest in ophthalmology through an internship at NASA’s Johnson Space Center, where he researched visual impairment experienced by astronauts in zero gravity.

Dr. Batliwala’s accomplishments extend beyond medicine. He’s a dynamic speaker on a variety of topics, from financial freedom through real estate investing to space exploration’s potential to elevate humanity. Dr. Batliwala also holds an Executive Master’s in Global Management, focusing on space business, leadership, and policy.
